Thank you for your patience! Welcome back! As some of you may already know, there's been horrific Bush Fires in Victoria - a southern state of Australia, on Saturday the 7th of February 2009, a series of devestating bushfires swept over a large part of the state of Vicotria, claiming over 184 lives, and over 750 homes and over a million different wildlife. We continue to send our deepest sympathies and wishes to those in Victoria that have lost homes, and friends and family. This tragedy has shocked not only the nation but the world, and every little bit of support could help. If you're Australian and you would like to see if you could do something to help the victims of the Victorian Bush Fires theres' a few things you can do. - Make a donation online to the Red Cross, by visiting www.redcross.org.au - Visit Coles Supermakerts on the 13th of Feb (This Friday) and make a donation over the counter, or by simply purchasing any item. ALL profits made on this day, by Coles, will go to the Red Cross Bush Fire Appeal - Visiting your local ANZ, Commonwealth or NAB bank branch and donating over the teller Even if you personally are unable to help with a donation, or with supplies - your thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families is enough. CURRENT MEMBERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Could all current members PLEASE check the Information board, and their emails concerning the 2009 member check. Please note that if you have NOT postede in the member check board for 2009, within SEVEN (7) days, we will open your character up to NEW commers. PLEASE NOTE: The sites inactivty has been due to a number of circumstances, and we understand that people need time to re-adjust, which is why the POST COUNT rule, will not be in affect for the next week. Bunny and Carter DOCTOR WHO NEWS HOT FROM THE BBC: Series 4 is now finished! What a great season! It just keeps getting better! Sad news, David Tennant - the current (10th) doctor, will be leaving the show in 2010, after 2009's FIVE specials (The Annual Christmas Special and 4 extra 'specials'). There will be no series 5, until 2010, starring a brand new Doctor MATT SMITH You may have seen Matt Smith in two of the ABC's of BBC's shows "Party Animals" and "Sally Lockheart Mysteries!". STAY TUNED FOR The next Doctor Who special, due on EASTER SUNDAY! 2009 (in the UK. Australian Air Dates are yet to be confirmed by the ABC.) - the first episode of the FOUR specials to be shown through out 2009! "Background radiation" Rose finished off as she nodded towards Abbie. "I've seen this before.. and I think I may just have the right thing for it" Rose beamed, as she grabbed her bag. Something she always carried with her these days, with her diary and her phone, as a vauge reminder of something.. someone she once had. It was only a pair, a single pair- but something she could easily obtain elsewhere for Abbie.

"These... Put them on" she added, handing over a strange pair of paper looking glasses. One eye covered in what looked like Blue Celophane, and one with red.
What were they?

3D glasses of course. The very same 3D glasses Rose had been given by the Doctor on the very last day she'd spent with him. What were they for? To view background radiation of course. "They work just as well as any other strange device that may get ordinary people suspicious.. Well, actually not that wearing these would look normal.. But you know.. More normal" Rose added with a smirk as she waited for Abbie to put the glasses on.

"If we can follow these muscus globs, from Lestat's devices, we can follow the radiation with these.. Much easier.. " Rose beamed

Abbie nodded putting them on and seeing the background radiation that her ship emmitted. "Right, but what we'll need first is this." she said taking the memory chip out of a slot in the console and slipping it into a slot in the side of something that resembled a watch. "You see, this will lead us to the foot prints, and then you can use those, things." she said refering to the glasses which she had handed back to Rose. "No offense... but they're not really my style. You know I prefer something that looks as advanced as it acutally is. Those just look kinda tacky.:

"Hey, don't diss the glasses" Rose muttered, mock offended when she took them back, putting them on, and glancing down at her hand, seeing the particles move about when she waved her hand around infront of her. "I guess you're right.. Maybe it's time to chuck these old things away" she sighed, slipping them off and left them on the console of the ship. "Maybe, we'll just try it your way.. Might be quicker after all" she added, glancing up with a sort of smile. "It's pretty cool though.. You can see your hand move a thousand ways in a split second".

Abbie shook her head quickly. "Oh no I didn't mean that you should throw them away. After all we'll need a back up. You know how technology can be. And who knows what signals on earth might interfere with this thing anyway." she said noticing that she seemed to have touched some kind of nerve accidentally. Abbie knew that Rose had gone through something, but she didn't know what. Afterall Rose never really talked about anything apart from work, with the occassional references to a male who she only really talked about in code. Which was fine for Abbie after all everyone had their own secrets, but Abbie was just worried that this one might eat Rose up on the inside.

(( OH MAN we should totes do a plot after the Doctor Donna comes over to this side!!!))

"Right.. Yes, of course" Rose mumbled, as she folded the cardboard glasses once more, slipping them inside her back pocket. "Well you better teach me how to use this thing. I haven't used a radiation tracker like this before... Apart from the glasses of course" She added with somewhat of a laugh closing her bag up. "Right.. " Rose said loudly as she moved towards the doorway once more. "Time to be getting out of here, and to track down, whatever we're supposed to be following and catching. . We can't sit around here all day, no matter how nice you may be Lestat" she added patting the interior of the ship with a small chuckle. The more things that had her mind distracted, the better she coped whenever something was brought up. It still affected her, even though it had been so long now. It probably would always sit at the back of her head, bubbling to the surface when she pulled out something like that- but she just kept pushing it away.

Abbie smiled. "You know I could sit around here all day." she said happy that there seemed to be a slight change in Rose's demenour. "Right well in order to make sure I don't stuff up and that this doesn't stuff up, we shoud turn it on when we get to the crime scene. That's probably the best place to start tracking stuff." she said getting up.
