A small girl was dancing around in the snow, laughing and looked like she was only in her teens but not really in the red planet, Gallifrey. Smile as she span around her turned her head as a man with ginger looking hair came walking to her “Great Grandfather!” The girl said running towards the man and hugged him “Lisa” he said hugging her back “I’ve got to go, the Time War is coming” he said “No… please I’ll come with you I trained for this day” she said before they both starting to walk away o a glob where the city of the Time Lords where. Lisa Smith woke up and her father, John Smith (The Doctor) looked at her “You okay?” he asked “Yes I am, another Dream but with a man I never met, felt like I knew him” she said “Same with me, but this time with you in it, and a blue person” he said before kissing Lisa’s forehead “Now sleep” John said before leaving Lisa and walked out, Lisa fell asleep again but without a Dream.
Waking up Lisa jumped out of bed, it was 1919 and nearly Halloween in Blackwood Falls and she was happy, soon she could hang around all her friends.

As the sun shone in through her window the beams fell onto her face and the light interrupted her dreams. She opened her eyes slightly and throwing her legs over the side of the bed sat up. She placed a hand on her growing stomach, it was much bigger than her last pregnancy, and every morning instead of feeling pregnant she simply felt fat. Feeling the tiny kick against her hand from the body within her she smiled slightly and hauled herself to her feet, feeling the strain in her back, and it was only going to get worse as the months went on. She waddled over to the mirror washed her face with the water in the wash bowl. She sighed looking at her reflection. Before they left on this little trip, Kreko had obtained a piece of technology that could change her appearance, she programmed the desired appearance into a small interface which then transferred the image to the small circular device that she stuck on her skin under her clothes, instantly changing her appearance. She could blend into earth culture now, with her pink skin. But some things remained unchanged, her striking, unhuman blue eyes, she didn’t want to change those. And the device of course could not hide her stomach, which in the early 20th century was a bit of an issue. She grabbed her rings from the dresser and slipped them onto her from the dresser and slipped them onto her finger. She was a pregnant widow her husband had died in the war and now she was a cook for a the Smith household. That was their story. She got dressed quickly, the cooks outfit; black with and apron. She had to get breakfast cooked before everybody started coming down stairs hungry. Rushing down the stairs she headed straight for the kitchen where her other cook was already getting started. “Morning Kathleen.” The girl greeted Kreko. Well she couldn’t exactly have kept her name now could she? It wasn’t exactly earthly. ”Morning.” Kreko acknowledged and began making the breakfast.

The Tardis was quiet. Not even the faint buzz that was around when the Doctor was working on things, or banging on the console to give it a good old Kick start. It felt as though the Tardis was dead. Of course, this couldn't happen. The Doctor was still alive. Technically, but his soul remained trapped in a watch. A stop watch to be exact.
Rose Tyler. Maid for the Smith household. Well, temporary maid that is. How else could she have kept an eye on the Doctor and Lisa if she wasn't working for the family. Trapped in the past, 1919 to be exact, Rose had no choice but to pretend to be the families maid, acting and serving them as any normal maid would do. That is, until he was needed. She knew he did what he did for a reason, but it didn't make things easy. She knew they were comming. She knew the family were comming. Some of the most dangerous creatures out there, and the Doctor had to remain hidden, for hte sake of the planet, and the universe, and yet- Rose sat and worked day after day, watching the happy family wondering if there would ever really be that need to awaken the Doctor again.

Lisa put her dress on, it was a purple one and she span around in it before walking out "Hello Father" she to John (Call him John till his the Doc again) “Morning Darling” he said “I got school today, one of my friends are skipping it, can I go with her?” Lisa asked but John shook his head “I’m working there two Lisa. So that would be a no” he said as the waked into a room seeing Rose “Hello Miss. Tyler” John said “Morning Ms. Tyler” Lisa said.

Rose spun, the usual smile on her face whenever she saw the Doctor gone, instead the smile was replaced with a curt blank looking expression, as she curtsied to them both. "Good morning Mr smith, miss smith. I take it you both had pleasent evenings" she asked with a small hint of a smile as she plumped the cushions up on the couch. She knew Kreko... (Kathleen) was working in the kitchens, and it would be rather innapropriate to sneak down now to see her friend, so she'd have to stay up here with the two for the time being.

(( I'm gunna refer to Kreko as Kathleen from now on. That way maybe it won't be so confusing))
"So the bread's almost done. We made Jam yesterday. The eggs are almost done. Bacon's cooking. The maids have set the table, and as soon as the foods on the serving dishes, the rest can be taken out." Kathleen barked orders at the rest of the kitchen staff as she sat on a stool. It was barely breakfast and already she was tired, her feet aching slightly, her ankles swollen. "I cannot wait for you to pop out of me." She muttered down at her stomach as the staff rushed busily around her.

One of the maids rushed into the kitchens. "They're at the table." she said almost breathless, and as such the daily routine began. All of the maids lined up with their dishes of food, the eggs on one plate, bacon on another and so on, and Kathleen inspected both them and the food before they would silently walk out into the dining room and place the food on the table where the Smiths would serve themselves. Kathleen smiled looking over at her staff. "Perfect as always." she said and with a nod sent them into the dining room, and upon doing what they were trained to do came back, and everyone began cleaning the kitchen and getting ready for lunch. Kathleen would of course, go and collect the dirty dishes once they were finished, that way any citicism they had about the food she could hear herself.

"Quite alright thank you miss... Now if you'll please both excuse me, I shall go collect your breakfast and get things going around the household" she nodded, curtised and made her exit from the dining room where she'd soon bring the food. Even though Rose had worked as a shop assistant, and dinner lady and waitress in the past, all retail and serving jobs- very much customer orientated, this by far was the hardest. It never seemed to stop. Certainly living here, under the same roof as The Doctor and Lisa was good, as she could keep a good watch over the two, but it was tough and demanding. Unlike Rose and Kreko, the rest of the workers here were real early 20th century folk. No messing about in this household.
Moving down through the house, towards the back of the house and down the few rickety stairs to the servants quarters and laundry and kitchen, Rose searched about for her friend Kreko, now known as Kathleen. It didn't take long. The smell of fresh egg and bacon drew her straight towards the stove/cooking area, and Rose found her friend. "morning to you Kathleen. Pleasent evening I suspect?" she asked nodding to her friends rather bloated stomach. "Smells delicious too.. Maybe I could say it dropped down the stairs and we had to start from scracth" Rose added with a small laugh. "They'll never notice we ate it all."

Kathleen smiled at Rose. "Sorry love I already sent it up to them, with the usual group of people, and extravagnace of course. Only the best for Mr and Miss Smith." she said a teasing smile twitching at her mouth.

"Oh really?" Rose asked, looking about at the oily potts and pans. Indeed they were all empty, the food long gone- and the pans slowly cooling down, yet the smell still lingered. "Ahh, but of course- we can only have the best for our Mr and Miss Smith. What other purpose are we here for, than to make them feel the most comfortable, most well fed and looked after son and daughter in the whole town?" Rose winked as she got about cleaning up the bench tops, as she did every morning. "How are you feeling though this morning Kathleen?"

"Fat." Kathleen responded in one word. "And sore. My back aches, my feet are swollen. My body's not used to carrying so much weight around. And I don't think that servant bed they've got me sleeping on exactly helps." she said sending the other maids onto their other jobs with a wave of her hand. "And my fingers are getting so big it's starting to get hard to put these rings on in the morning and take them off at night." she smiled slightly. "But baby seems fine. Likes to kick and move and annoy Mother." she said half talking to her stomach." she sighed and smiled at Rose. "But how are you doing?"

Lisa had eaten all her food and started to walk out the house to go to school "See you soon Father" she said before running to her school. "Yes, soon" he said foling the newspaper and started eaten his own food.

"Ahh, don't you worry Kathleen.. A few months and it'll all be over. You'll have a little boy or girl to annoy you day in, day out- while working here over the stove cooking to keep them healthy and well" Rose coughed with a small chuckle as she leant against the counter top watching Kathleen. "You know... Sometimes I just want to open that watch, but then I remember there's all those reality tv shows where people actually do this kind of job, and live in these conditions for fun... like a game" she shuddered. "It's not too bad. I can't really compalin. I've got food... You, a bed... A horrible one, but a bed none the less, and I get to keep an eye out on that man... Doctor or not, he's still dreamy" Rose chuckled.
